A little bit about Me...

India Pearl is an Irish and Assyrian-American standup comic, writer, and accidental scream queen. She was born and raised in Central Massachusetts, the daughter of two Rock-and-Roll-loving hippies.  Due to her unhealthy obsession with Jim Carrey, she started performing at a very young age.  Her education includes a Bachelors in Theater from UMass Amherst, physical theater and Shakespeare at Kent University in the UK, New York Film Academy, and Boston University's Masters-Level Acting in Hollywood satellite program.

Her writing primarily includes sitcoms in a traditional style, with a modern sense of humor. To view original scripts and writing samples, click HERE or refer to the tab labelled "WRITING"

Her acting resume has noteworthy credits, including a supporting role in the Rasmussen Brothers "The Inhabitants" which previously streamed on Hulu (writers of John Carpenter's, "The Ward"). She was a Bachanalian in Tubiforce Productions' "The Bacchae" which was featured in the Boston Outside the Box Arts Festival, and part of Harvard's American Repertory Theater's Summer Works Series at the Oberon Theater.

India has performed at Boston clubs such as The Comedy Studio, Nick's Comedy Stop, and opened for Doug Stanhope at The Wilbur Theater.  She was the resident host at Mahoney's Pub in Worcester, MA.  Festival credits include the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, Seattle International Comedy Competition, San Francisco Comedy Competition, Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, and the Independent Television and Film Festival Comedy Showcase in Dover, VT.  In LA she can be seen at various clubs including Flappers in Burbank, Universal Bar and Grille, and The Comedy Store.
